these awesome realistic animal painting are made by Ester Van Hulsen (1981) a paleo artist and wildlife illustrator from Netherland. she has been working as a professional wildlife artist since she finished an art school in Holland in 2004. she has been participating in the birds in art exhibition and is currently illustrating on her fourth books.
Ester uses water color, guoache, acrylic, pen and pencil and tries to put as much detail in her animal painting as possible. her focus is on wildlife, living and extinct. to achieve this Ester does a lot of anatomy studies, she has great connections with the zoos and wildlife park in Norway, where's she cand study about the animal. Ester also works closely with together with professor Jon Hurum, to reconstructing fossils and illustrating books for him.
